Executive Presentation Workshops
May 17, 2009 in Atlanta, GA
BIO’s Executive Presentation Workshops have been developed to enhance the presentations and presentation skills of executives that have been selected to present at BIO’s various partnering, investor and venture capital meetings. Courses are taught by faculty that have decades of life-sciences industry experience and are specialists in advising senior executives in presentation skills. Attendance is limited to ensure an optimal faculty/student ratio that provides hands-on experience. The Workshops include a panel of leading Venture Capitalists that share their secrets about the courting process of fund raising.
We offer a session at the BIO International Convention that focuses specifically on developing better partnering presentations, on the day prior to the opening of the BIO Business Forum. There is an additional charge for this workshop beyond the registration fee to attend the convention.
Other sessions held throughout the year are focused on presenting to the investor community, and are held in conjunction with our BVF East, BIO Mid America, and BIO Investor Forum meetings. At those workshops, one representative from a company that has been accepted to present at BVF East, BIO Mid America, and BIO Investor Forum may attend for free. Others are welcome to attend for a nominal fee of $295 for members, $495 for non-members.
Topics covered include:
- Positioning your company to build value
- Creating an effective elevator pitch
- Presenting your company in 15 slides or less
- Effectively delivering your story
- Making the most out of your presentation opportunity
